DALE JOHNSTON
Elder
A Christian for 50 years, Dale accepted Jesus as his Savior at a southern California Billy Graham crusade during the crazy Jesus People movement era. Since then he has experienced a wide breadth of ecumenical expressions from conservative to charismatic. After moving from the Bay Area, Dale and his wife, Diane, have attended Bridgeway since 2011, where he leads a small group, is a member of the prayer team, and is on Pastor Lance’s intercessors team. He joined the elder board in 2019. Dale’s passion is prayer, especially prayer for healing. He has seen God miraculously restore people physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Dale recently retired from a career in the advertising design industry, the last 25+ years as creative director of the University of San Francisco, a Catholic Jesuit institution. Dale & Diane love art, travel, & movies, and Dale loves baseball history and painting.
