HSM-Camp Alta- Nov 2024
November 22–24, 2024
HSM exists as an energetic community of growth and discipleship meant for encountering Christ.
Effective ministry with high school students hinges on building bridges of relationship strong enough to bear the weight of truth we want to give. These non-exclusive principles are the essence of our youth ministry, and we want to be strategic in our relationships and how we display and proclaim truth. Our task is to create a culture that breeds, and breathes these principles.
All HSM services are in The Grounds, in the lower level at Bridgeway.
Every Wednesday night at HSM, we connect as a group to have fun, get a little deeper, pray for each other, and be challenged. Weekend service is designed to engage with God through worship and the Word. We talk through every part of the Bible in a way that makes a difference in our lives.
Wednesdays at 7:00 pm at Bridgeway, downstairs in The Grounds.
HSM has 90-100 students that meet every Wednesday night from 7:00 – 9:00 pm in “The Grounds,” which is on the church’s lower level. From 6:30 – 7:00 pm, “The Commons” (our game room) is open for students to play games and hang out. At 7:00 pm, we begin our service by playing a fun and exciting game that leads into an intentional time of worshiping God through music. Around 8:00 pm, the students will hear an applicable message to their age group that points them towards the truth of the Gospel and God’s word. Right after the message is finished, we split up into small groups (grade and gender), for about 40 minutes to get the students to talk about what the message was about that night.
Saturdays at 5:00 pm and Sunday at 9:15 & 11:00 am, at Bridgeway, downstairs in The Grounds.
Each weekend, HSM meets at the 5:00 pm service on Saturday and 9:15 & 11:00 am services on Sunday in “The Grounds”. Each service has the same content but functions much differently. Our Saturday service consists of us sitting in a circle and getting to know each other through fun questions for the first 30 min. After that, we play a game that gets the students to interact with one another, then the message happens. Sunday is slightly different as it is a typical worship service with an intro, a game, worship through music, and then the message. Both messages on Saturday and Sunday are the same but are delivered differently because of the environment. We could have anywhere between 15-25 students on Saturdays and upwards of 60 on Sundays.
Last Wednesday of the month at 7:00 pm at various locations.
Please contact the HSM team to find out where the next Open Door night will be held.
