Fervent Women’s Ministry

Fervent Women’s Ministry exists to support women of all ages, stages, and seasons of life as they grow in their relationship with God. All we do supports the core values of Bridgeway — to know God, to love generously, develop disciples, build family (at church and at home), and partner missionally.

We're here to help you connect with other ladies and our Jesus through Women's Classes, MOPS, Missional Communities, Mentoring, and Events.

Any questions or be involved in these ministries, please email us. We’d love to have you join!

"Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins."
1 Peter 4:8

What's Happening

#thisismotherhood

MOPS continues to be a place for moms, pregnant with their first through moms with kindergarten children. It’s not just for moms of preschool children. It’s a place for moms to join together, take a break, just a little time for yourself, and enjoy sharing the joys and challenges of motherhood.

Each fall and winter/spring, we have a Tuesday evening option for working moms and a Wednesday morning option for all moms. During summer, we have meet ups. We want to support all our moms.

Classes@Bridgeway

Want to be part of a large group of women studying God’s word and find community in smaller groups? Women’s Classes are for you.

We have fall, winter/spring and summer classes. The studies offered include one main study that is offered four different days/times, an inductive study group on Friday mornings and a class that supports wives of law enforcement officers on Tuesday evenings.

Women's Community Groups

We have groups of women who join together for authentic relationship, studying God’s word and serving others together.  They meet at least twice a month off campus.  Some of the groups support certain stages of life and others are open to all.   We’ll help you connect.  If you’re interested in starting one of those groups, we’d love to hear from you.

We have a group that meets to discuss BEMA Discipleship Podcasts on Wednesday afternoons twice a month and a couple other groups that have openings. If you’re interested in joining one of these groups or starting a Women’s missional community, email us.

Local Ministry Support

We are a generous and loving group of women that find joy in supporting other ministries. Among those ministries, we regularly support Mercy Multiplied, All About Hope and Acres of Hope. Each year we team up to walk as a group in the Run for Mercy 5K Run/Family Walk. Many of the ladies volunteer at the thrift stores that support Acres of Hope, and we get together to “build” boxes of creative supplies for children who are sick and hospitalized with All About Hope.

As needs arise, we let you know where help is needed. If you are interested in supporting one of these local ministries, our group will give you regular opportunities.

Women's Mentoring: Doing Life Together

Have you ever considered being mentored or considered mentoring? We have an active group of mentors doing life with others who want to be mentored. We love organic mentoring where you find someone you know as a mentor but many times that’s just hard. We’re here to support all mentors and help connect ladies who want to be mentored.

Betrayal and Beyond

Betrayal and Beyond is a class and a support group. We are a special group of women with unique stories united by one common thing: we have all been impacted by the discovery that we are in relationships with men who struggle with pornography or sexual addiction.

Through a biblically based study, we meet, discuss, and grow in our understanding of this addiction, process through our complex thoughts and feelings, and support one another as we seek to discern our path forward.

This is a time when you need other Christian women who understand and relate. This group is here for all who are dealing with this challenging and difficult situation.

The group meets from fall through late spring, but support is available at any time of year.

Annual Events

Throughout the year we come together to celebrate, learn, and work toward who God wants us to be and to remind ourselves that we are wonderfully made, unique daughters of the King.

Christmas Gathering is our largest event as we come together to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus, and enjoy the beauty of Christmas. Held the first Friday of December each year, we enjoy a light meal around tables, an uplifting message and wonderful Christmas music.

Other events during the year include half-day retreats and workshops. IF Gathering is one of our special events that is held in early spring. We love getting together and celebrating all God is and has done for us!
