Pastor Lance Hahn has been the senior pastor of Bridgeway Christian Church since 1997. A gifted Bible teacher, Lance is known for his ability to communicate God’s truth with accuracy and humor. His role at Bridgeway blends his two greatest passions: God and people. He loves seeing the transformation that happens when God gets a hold of a person’s life.

While Lance’s primary vocation is leading Bridgeway, God has also allowed Lance to serve Him in several other ways. His sermons are heard daily on KFIA radio, he has spoken at numerous conferences, written several magazine articles, and has published one book, How to Live in Fear: Mastering the Art of Freaking Out. Lance also serves on the board of City Pastors Fellowship, and is passionate about uniting churches in the Sacramento region.

Lance has been married to Suzi since 1995, and they have two daughters (Jillian and Andie) and one pooch, Bella. He holds a B.A. from Sacramento State University and an Master of Divinity degree from Western Seminary. When he’s not at church Lance is an avid collector (sports cards, comic books, vinyl records, and other things), a major movie buff, and a big fan of the beach.

Pastor Paul Thome joined the Bridgeway staff in January 2020 as Pastor of Care and Compassion. Oversee four major ministries in Care and Compassion - Pastoral Care, Soul Care (counseling), Global and Community Care (outreach) and the Prayer Ministry. His goal is to provide wholistic care for our people here at Bridgeway, around the world, and across the street.

Paul and his wife, Sherri, have two adult children: Alisha Mecier and Brooks Thome, and they have eight grandchildren. Paul has his B.A. in Speech Communications from CSUSac, and is a Graduate of Scribe School, Peninsula Bible Church.

Paul is a certified Personal/Professional Coach at the PCC level with the International Coach Federation and the author of The Liquid Bible - Recapturing the Flow of the Great Story of God. He coaches church planters for the Next Gen Association of Churches, is the founder of LEDR Coaching and Training, amnd is currently finishing up an expositional flow commentary on the Book of Romans titled Whole Again.

Paul loves teaching the Bible with relevancy and accuracy and seeing people respond to God and is passionate about helping develop emerging leaders for the future of the Church. In addition to ministry Paul is an incorrigible Sacramento Kings Fan and he enjoys reading, sports and hiking.

Heidi joined the Bridgeway team in November of 2015 as Director of Operations. Since joining the team, Heidi has focused on developing and implementing processes and systems for all day-to-day operations. Her responsibilities include oversight and development of personnel management, finances, facilities, IT, human resources, creative arts, events, database management, and office operations. Heidi loves having the opportunity to walk with others on their journey of faith. She feels blessed to be able to partner and serve with an amazing team of people who are dedicated to leading and inspiring others to know Jesus.

Heidi married Brian in 1999 with his three children, Brianne, Angie and Eric. Together Heidi and Brian have one daughter, Brooke and two golden retrievers, Izzee and Willow. Heidi attended Sacramento State University, and she has over 25 years of operations management experience. When she is not at Bridgeway her passions are spending time with her family in any outdoor activity and maintaining a 125-gallon salt water reef tank. She also enjoys scrapbooking, scuba diving, horseback riding, and she especially loves archery with her daughter.

Pastor Brian Kiley joined the Bridgeway staff in 2013, and currently serves as Bridgeway’s Director of Discipleship. Brian also occasionally teaches in our weekend services. In his role he works with other staff to oversee all of Bridgeway's discipleship ministries including Missional Communities, classes, adult ministries, student ministries, and children's ministry.  Brian loves the authenticity and humility of the Bridgeway culture, and he loves the opportunity to help people from all walks of life come to know Jesus in a life-changing way. He also enjoys using technology to communicate the gospel in innovative ways.

Brian is married to Christie and they have two sons, Matthew and Joey. He holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from UCLA and a Master of Divinity degree from Fuller Theological Seminary. Prior to coming to Bridgeway he had served as a college pastor and a youth pastor. When he’s not at Bridgeway Brian loves reading, playing pickleball, coaching his kids' sports teams, hiking, spending time outdoors, and cheering on the Sacramento Kings and UCLA Bruins.

Jeff Eberhardt came on staff at Bridgeway in 2012 after attending Bridgeway for one year. As Technical Director he oversees the production aspect of what goes on at the Bridgeway campus. Matt Bach joined the Bridgeway staff as Pastor of High School Ministries in January of 2011 and transitioned into his current role as Director of Christian Development in May of 2017. Matt oversees all elements of Bridgeway’s adult education ministry including all adult classes and weekend workshops. Matt loves teaching, and he loves equipping our staff and volunteers to teach others.

Matt is married to Becky and they have three children (George, Lucy, and Henry) and one Labradoodle (Gandalf- yes, he looks like a wizard). He holds an M.A. in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, and a B.A. in Theology (Old Testament emphasis) from Briercrest Bible College. Prior to coming to Bridgeway Matt served as an Associate Pastor in Christchurch, New Zealand, and as Director of Church Relations for the Mexico Outreach at Azusa Pacific University. Matt is also an adjunct faculty member at William Jessup University. In his free time Matt loves reading, spending time at home with his family, and leading tours of Israel with GTI Tours.

Heather Johnson joined the Bridgeway staff in January of 2014 and serves in the Discipleship Ministry as Missional Communities Coordinator.  She offers leadership, training, and support to all the community and discipleship groups at BCC. Heather enjoys empowering groups to walk the journey together in becoming whole hearted disciples of Jesus and she loves seeing others discover who God made them to be and how God can use them daily to love others.

Heather is married to Dave and they have one son (Aden) and two daughters (Ellie and Sophie). She has a B.A. in Government Journalism from Sacramento State University, Christian Life Coach training from Western Seminary, and an M.A. in Organizational Leadership from Point Loma Nazarene University. Heather is also an Associate Certified Life Coach with the International Coaching Federation. Outside of work, Heather loves reading, game nights with friends, and anything near the ocean.

Ashely Danz started attending Bridgeway in 2006 and has been on staff since 2008. As Kidsway Director she oversees all things children’s ministry, including the staff, volunteers, program, curriculum, and materials. Ashley is passionate about equipping parents to be the primary disciplers of their children.

Ashley loves seeing kids grow in the Lord as they go through Kidsway, and finds it both rewarding and humbling to be a part of that process. She loves serving shoulder to shoulder with her incredible Kidsway staff and volunteer teams.

Ashley is married to Brett, and she has two A.A. degrees from Sierra College (Liberal Arts, Social Science), and a B.S. degree from CSU Sacramento (Speech and Language Pathology). When she’s not at church she loves thrift shopping, baking, and getting to Disneyland as often as possible.

Nikki McInturf has attended Bridgeway since 2007 and has been on staff since 2010. In her current role as Assistant Children’s Director she focuses on providing support and encouragement to the Kidsway team. She is constantly seeking to improve communication, safety processes, and opportunities for new families and to volunteers to connect. She loves building relationships with others and helping kids of all ages learn about God’s character and His incredible love for them!

Nikki is married to Nathan and they have two children, Micah and Ayla. She has a B.A. in Child Development from Point Loma Nazarene University. When she’s not at work she enjoys being outside, going to the theater, listening to music and spending time at the ocean.

Mindy Peña joined the Bridgeway staff in 2012 and serves as the Children’s Ministry (Kidsway) Administrator. She helps ensure the smooth operation of our children’s ministry by supporting our Kidsway staff, volunteers and family. She also helps facilitate partnerships between Kidsway and our other ministry departments. Mindy loves seeing kids come to church and be so excited about what they are learning in the Bible. She also loves serving alongside our amazing volunteers and staff who do such an incredible job of ministering to the children of Bridgeway.

Mindy is married to Mike, and they have five children (Brandon, Michael, Annika, Joshua, and Mason). She has an A.A. in psychology, and when she is not at Bridgeway she loves hanging out with friends and family, DIY projects, and reading.

Middle School Ministry

Ryan DesJardin joined the Bridgeway staff in October of 2017 as the Middle School Ministries Pastor. In his role, Ryan disciples our 6th-8th grade students during weekend and midweek services, special events, trips and leadership development. Ryan passionately believes that young people are the church of today (not someday), and wants every middle school student to know they are a child of God.

Ryan is married to Angie and they have two sons: Micah (b. 2015) and Declan (b. 2017). He holds a B.A. in Bible/Theology & Youth Ministry from William Jessup University. Prior to joining the Bridgeway team he served as a youth pastor in the Sacramento area for seven years and worked in the Church Relations and Outreach department at William Jessup University. When he’s not at Bridgeway, Ryan loves traveling to cities, hipster coffee shops, food trucks, black iced tea and dancing to worship music in his living room with his son, Micah.

Cliff Woodward joined the Bridgeway staff in August of 2016 as Associate Youth Pastor and transitioned into the Senior High Pastor role in May of 2017. In his role, Cliff works to lead high school students to Christ through intentional programming and meaningful relationships. Cliff's favorite part of his job is spending time with students and getting to know them. He also loves teaching God's word and helping students get a better grasp of the Bible.

Cliff holds a B.A. in Youth Ministry with a minor in Bible and Theology from William Jessup University. He loves sports (especially baseball and soccer) and enjoys playing the drums in his free time. He also goes to Disneyland any chance he gets!

Keith Richey and his family have attended Bridgeway since 2006, and Keith joined the Elder Board in 2016. He and his wife, Susan, have also served as leaders in Bridgeway’s Family Ministry, and he also helped launch and coordinate the Men’s Sports Ministry. Keith loves the people of Bridgeway, and appreciates the opportunity he has to see God at work transforming lives in the Bridgeway community. He is excited to be a part of what God does next!

Keith and Susan have been married since 1995, and they have two sons and one daughter. He has a B.S. in Computer Science from CSUS, and he has worked in the information technology industry as a project manager and software developer since 1995. He has owned his own information technology consulting firm since 2006. When he’s not at work or church, Keith loves playing football, basketball, softball, and golf. He has also coached his son’s flag football team.

Mitch and his family have attended Bridgeway since 2014, and Mitch joined the Elder Board in 2020. Mitch also serves as a leader of the Caring for Uganda Missional Community. He and his wife are Marriage Mentors in the Bridgeway Marriage Mentoring ministry, and Mitch is also a board member and missions coordinator for Yaaka Afrika missions to Uganda.

Mitch is married to Janell, three children and five grandchildren. He served in the US Army from 1984 to 1987. He graduated from the Sacramento County Sheriff's Academy in 1990, holds his B.S. in Criminal Justice in 1998 from the Union Institute, and retired from the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office as a Lieutenant in 2018. Mitch is currently working as a Reserve Deputy for the Sheriff's Office and enjoys the privilege of helping members of the public in need.

Aside from work and serving at Bridgeway Mitch enjoys woodworking, being outdoors, camping and spending time with his grandchildren.

Lane Gibbs and his family have attended Bridgeway since 2002, and Lane joined the Elder Board in 2008. He also serves as a chaplain as part of the prison ministry. Throughout his life Lane has had the chance to live, work, and serve alongside people from all walks of life, and he has been able to see God use him to relate well to a broad range of people.

Lane is married to Shanna and they have one daughter and one son. He works as an account manager for AT&T, and he loves the freedom his job allows for him to do ministry. When he’s not at work or church, he enjoys fishing and golf.

 A Christian for 50 years, Dale accepted Jesus as his Savior at a southern California Billy Graham crusade during the crazy Jesus People movement era. Since then he has experienced a wide breadth of ecumenical expressions from conservative to charismatic. After moving from the Bay Area, Dale and his wife, Diane, have attended Bridgeway since 2011, where he leads a small group, is a member of the prayer team, and is on Pastor Lance’s intercessors team. He joined the elder board in 2019. Dale’s passion is prayer, especially prayer for healing. He has seen God miraculously restore people physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Dale recently retired from a career in the advertising design industry, the last 25+ years as creative director of the University of San Francisco, a Catholic Jesuit institution. Dale & Diane love art, travel, & movies, and Dale loves baseball history and painting.

Anthony Seiler and his family have attended Bridgeway since 2008, and Anthony joined the Elder Board in 2019.  Anthony has served on the Greeting Team, Campus Guides, Crown Financial, Budget Care, Missional Communities and does community ministry within their home.  Anthony loves Bridgeway and the heart they have towards scripture and their community. 

Anthony and Julie have been married since 2008 and they have two girls; Lilly and Lynn.  Anthony went to CSU Sacramento, Harvard Business School and works for a software company in print management/data analytics.  He loves the freedom his work provides allowing much time for his family at home.  When he’s not working, at church or playing tennis, Anthony loves to travel with his family and experience new adventures around the world.
