Those suffering loss and grief are all around us, but we often don’t know what to say or how to relate to them in ways that will ease their pain and show we care. In fact, sometimes we unintentionally add to their burden by the things we say or do. This workshop is designed to help participants understand some of the challenges we face when trying to comfort the hurting. We will explore specific examples of what to say and do—and what not to say or do—and seek to build some basic caregiving skills.
Our in-person class is full but we have an online option on March 1st.
