Care & Compassion Christmas

This Christmas partner with Care & Compassion at Bridgeway and GIVE, SHOP, and BELONG. There are many opportunities to partner with Global and Community Care partners.

The Christmas Center
The Christmas Center is a collaborative service provided by Care & Compassion designed to partner with families who may be experiencing financial difficulties. Qualifying families are given the opportunity to
purchase Christmas gifts at an affordable price.
How it works
1. Donate a new unwrapped gift valued at $25.00.
2. Gifts are set up at our Christmas Center and offered at $5.00 to families.
3. The $5.00 supports our Community Closet offering free food in partnership with the Placer County Food Bank. Families participate in the shopping experience while feeling the dignity of purchasing their children gifts and supporting the Bridgeway Community Closet. Gifts are being collected for all genders, ages 2-18 until December 16th. Gifts can be dropped off at any time in the marked bins in the lobby at Bridgeway.

Bridgeway Angels
Bridgeway Angels partners with Placer County Corrections to provide gifts to the children of incarcerated parents.

How it works
1. Select a child of an incarcerated parent of South Placer Jail.
2. Purchase a gift off the child’s wish list valued at $25.00.
3. Wrap your gift, and place the included sticker on the gift, writing your selected child’s family number, name and age. The tag is for you to keep.
4. Drop your wrapped and stickered gift off at Bridgeway by 12/15/17.
You can also serve by helping to deliver gifts to families. We will be meeting at Bridgeway on December 16th at noon to deliver the gifts. This is a powerful opportunity to bring some encouragement and love into the homes of hurting families in our community.

Visit the lobby at Bridgeway Christian Church November 3rd-December 16th. You can Christmas shop while making a difference globally and locally.

Haiti Made was born out of a deep desire to see the Haitian people
empowered by sustainable and dignified employment as a part of a larger effort to promote economic growth and to fight to keep families together.
More than half of Haiti’s people are living in poverty, and the orphan and child slavery crisis in their nation is largely fueled by lack of employment. With these factors spiraling Haiti into further economic turmoil, job creation has been proven to succeed where perpetual aid measures have failed.
Vineworks is a socially responsible company that partners with artisans around the world to give them access to the U.S. marketplace and pay them a fair trade wage. We are committed not only to providing jobs at fair wages but to giving back 50% of the profit to the country where the product was produced. With that money, we provide and support worthy causes such as education, micro-loans, medical care, feeding programs, and churches. The sales of Transform Coffee supports the efforts of Global Community Care. You can be part of transforming lives by sharing our passion for coffee. Some of the best coffee in the world comes from underdeveloped countries. We encourage economic growth in these regions by purchasing coffee beans from fair trade.

Other merchandise is available from partners such as Yaaka Afrika and
