Matt Bach joined the Bridgeway staff as Pastor of High School Ministries in January of 2011 and transitioned into his current role as Equipping Pastor in May of 2017. Matt oversees all elements of Bridgeway’s adult education ministry including all adult classes and weekend workshops. Matt loves teaching, and he loves equipping our staff and volunteers to teach others. 

Matt is married to Becky and they have three children (George, Lucy, and Henry) and one Labradoodle (Gandalf- yes, he looks like a wizard). He holds an M.A. in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, and a B.A. in Theology (Old Testament emphasis) from Briercrest Bible College. Prior to coming to Bridgeway Matt served as an Associate Pastor in Christchurch, New Zealand, and as Director of Church Relations for the Mexico Outreach at Azusa Pacific University. Matt is also an adjunct faculty member at William Jessup University. In his free time Matt loves reading, spending time at home with his family, and leading tours of Israel with GTI Tours.

Heather Johnson joined the Bridgeway staff in January of 2014 and serves in the Discipleship Ministry as Missional Communities Coordinator. She offers leadership, training and support to the missional communities as well as supervises the volunteer coaches that serve at BCC. Heather enjoys empowering groups to walk the journey together in becoming whole hearted disciples of Jesus and she loves seeing others discover who God made them to be and how God can use them daily to love others.

Heather is married to Dave and they have one son (Aden) and two daughters (Ellie and Sophie). She has a B.A. in Government Journalism from Sacramento State University, Christian Life Coach training from Western Seminary, and an M.A. in Organizational Leadership from Point Loma Nazarene University. Heather is also an Associate Certified Life Coach with the International Coaching Federation. Outside of work, Heather loves reading, game nights with friends, and anything near the ocean.
